Based on the letters north carolina public education and reminiscences of parents, teachers, north carolina public education and students; on novels; north carolina public education and on more traditional documentary sources, Schooling the New South deftly combines social north carolina public education and political history, gender studies, north carolina public education and African American history into a story of educational reform.
